LEANING
CEDAR HOMESTEAD

Idaho's First Source for Colorado Mountain Dogs

What do you hope for in a dog?

Our registered Colorado Mountain Dogs blend a steady guardian instinct with family companionship. They’re gentle with livestock and your little ones, but fierce when it comes to protecting the homestead.

We are a family of 7 with a love for dogs and country forest living. We fell in love with CMD's in 2004 and have since decided to bring this wonderful breed to North Idaho. We live on 4 acres in a forest of cedars, some of which are leaning.

Bailey (female)

STHH Bailey is the original CMD lady of the homestead. We got quite spoiled with such a perfect first dog, so naturally she became the first mother dog to have a litter at our homestead. Bailey has a solid guardian nature, sweet temperament and loves attention from all humans.
